A quick post on my weekend vacation

Over the weekend I went on a trip to New York. It was super fun getting to see people I haven't seen in a while, and also to meet new faces. I made a lot of new little friends. I think kids like me. It's kind of funny. I like them too, though, so it all works out. :) For example, I was sitting next to this baby (well, I mean he was sitting on somebody's lap) and he was just staring at me. He would not look away. I did all the little cutesy things that one does to babies. You know, like tickling and making funny faces... And he continued to just stare. So then I held out my hands as if to say 'I don't know what you want, little guy...' And he held out his arms for me to pick him up as if to say, 'Finally you offer to pick me up! I have only been sitting here patiently for like ever!' Haha. Babies, I tell ya. ;)

Anyways, here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend. I took quite a bit more, including some shots of the fireworks we saw, but these were the ones I especially liked while looking over all the shots I took.


Okay, so someone told me that this coffee place is much more popular than Starbucks in the area of New York that we were in. There wasn't even a Starbucks anywhere near where we were!! It didn't matter much to me, because I don't drink coffee, but aren't most of us used to seeing a Starbucks on like every corner??


This little guy absolutely did not care about getting his picture taken. All he could tell me about was, 'Pawpaw's tractor'. He just wanted a ride!


These little cousins are the best of friends. It is really adorable to watch them together. :)


There weren't really any amazing sunsets over the weekend, much to the dismay of my photographer heart, but I took this around sunset and I think it turned out pretty cool.


Little golden child... Her hair was so fair and her skin was so tan. She was so sweet! :)
